Winter rains turn the grassy hills of California's farm lands a magically green for a few weeks during the spring.

As the winter rains bring life back to the hills of California and late lingering storms hover over the Bay Area, I spend the weekends in search of perfect rolling hill. I years past I have struck out on finding that image I desired but this year I finally captured some of what I have been craving.

If you plan on shooting hills yourself, don't wait till next weekend, most seasons they are barely around long enough for you to blink.
